Career Opportunities
Statistical Analyst - Northwestern University Medical School:
Performs statistical analyses by developing and implementing various
biostatistical programming and analysis procedures using the SAS statistical
analysis package and appropriate graphics software. Combine and manipulate
SAS databases to test research hypotheses in the field of cardiovascular
disease epidemiology and prevention. Will perform univariate and
multivariate analyses, analysis of variance, regression analysis, and
proportional hazards analysis. Prepares data summaries tables and figures to
communicate the results of statistical analyses to project investigators.
Documents all analysis procedures. Requires a Master’s degree in
Biostatistics, Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science with emphases in
biostatistics and database methods. Qualifications include experience with
statistical analysis and the presentation of data in medical and public
health research.

Volunteer Opportunities
Registration Assistant - Chapter Meetings - Volunteers are needed to help with registration at the Spring and Fall Meetings and Summer Workshop. Registration volunteers will be expected to arrive about a half-hour prior to the start of the registration period and will work at the registration desk as directed by the Chapter Treasurer, Zhen Zhao. This is a great way to connect faces with names and get to know other Chapter members.
