5:30p-6:15p Social hour, appetizers will be provided for all by Patrick Brockett, our speaker (see below)
6:15p-6:30p ASA business and announcements
6:30p-8:00p Dr. Patrick Brockett will discuss RIDIT Analysis, a useful method for categorizing when the dependent variable is not known. He will be using examples of RIDIT's application, featuring one from a recent award-winning article on fraud detection.

Pat Brockett, through the Wortham Chair for Risk Management and Insurance, will provide appetizers for us beginning at 5:30p. Joe's Crab Shack (again, the Riverside location) was very happy to have us hold our meeting there and will provide wait staff for our room for drinks (dutch treat) and any dinner beyond the appetizers you want to order for yourself (dutch treat).

If your schedule does not permit a 5:30 or 6:30p arrival, come as soon as you can--we hope to see you there! And, tell or bring any other interested persons.
