Summer meetings will be informal statistics roundtable discussions

June 22, 6 pm, Sonic on Bee Caves at Walsh Tarleton

The idea of the "Statistics Roundtable" is for you to be able to discuss with other statisticians questions, thoughts, or issues you have had for fun or profit and wish to obtain others' thoughts. Please come and bring any ideas you have, and you may e-mail them to me ahead of time, if you wish me to disseminate them for others to begin thinking about. We do not often have the opportunity to mix and talk about statistical topics of personal/professional interest, so I am trying to provide that here. There will not be a formal presentation, just open discussion, food, drink and fellowship.

Topics that will to be introduced are:

* gauge studies on destructive or "walking" measurements,
* SPC on profile data -- what model to use,
* probabilities dealing with GPSr uncertainties.

Please send or bring your topic of interest, or just come to listen or participate in the discussion.

Pat Brockett will be buying your dinner for you compliments of the Gus Wortham Chair in Risk Management and Insurance. Thank you, once again, Pat.
