A Presentation by Steven J. Littig and Mark W. Isken

The keynote speakers were Steven J. Littig, M.S and Mark W. Isken, Ph.D.    Their presentation was entitled "Short Term Hospital Census Prediction", and was well received.   They described their experience with developing a computerized decision support system for predicting short term patient occupancy at a nursing unit level over 32-hour time horizons.   Mr. Littig is President and CEO of Improvement Path Systems, Inc. (IPS).   Dr. Isken is an Assistant Professor of Decision and Information Sciences at Oakland University.   There were 13 attendees at the Chapter meeting.
