Annual ASA
This Sunday afternoon social event was planned by the Board. Cecilia and Paul Yee kindly hosted the
event
at their home again. Approximately
15
people attended, and all enjoyed the afternoon as well as the food. Everyone brought potluck food
contributions,
and a good time was had by all. We
hope
to hold another such picnic next summer.
During the
picnic, a short DCASA Board meeting was held.
The Agenda discussion topics included:
finalizing the 2003 Chapter Activity Report; Chapter projects or
events
for 2004 and 2005; planning Chapter meetings and speakers for Fall
2004; the
potential “Statistics and the Law” forum during 2005; reviewing who
would be attending JSM 2004; and preliminary planning for the Chapter
elections
and potential candidates for the open 2005 Board positions (VP,
Treasurer).
