Presentation of statistics poster competition award winners at schools in the Detroit area

Five Board members served as DCASA representatives to present the awards to those winners in the Michigan Poster Competition who were from schools in the Detroit metropolitan area.   The winners were students who made the best use of statistics in their posters.   There were several student winners awarded, and they were from 2 schools:  Springfield Plains Elementary in Clarkston (on May 16), and Carleton Middle School in Sterling Heights (on May 23). The presentations were made in the classrooms or school auditoriums of the respective winning students.   Each student received a certificate and/or other award.
