Census Advisory Committee
Charge:
- To critically observe and appraise the Census Bureau program as a whole and the progress of its various segments.
- To consider priority issues that arise between and within fields.
- To examine formulations of guiding principles.
- To advise on questions of policy and procedure, especially as they relate to statistical standard and methods, and to alternative sources of data.
- To respond to the Census Bureau's requests for opinions and judgments in the whole area of its operations.
