| The workshop will consist of a series of invited and contributed talks on the general topic of inference in complex/high-dimensional problems, with a special focus on methods that are based on model-selection, shrinkage, and regularization. Invited speakers include Rudy Beran (UC Davis), Lawrence Brown (The Wharton School), Tianxi Cai (Harvard School of Public Health), Xu Cheng (University of Pennsylvania), Bruce E. Hansen (University of Wisconsin), Susan Murphy (University of Michigan), Richard Nickl (University of Cambridge), Cun-Hui Zhang (Rutgers University). Contributed presentations are welcome! Please submit your extended abstract or paper to benedikt.poetscher@univie.ac.at before March 15, 2012. | ||||
