BAPS - Beyond AP Statistics

A WORKSHOP FOR EXPERIENCED TEACHERS

Since the 2010 Joint Statistical Meetings will be held in Canada, BAPS is not scheduled for 2010. The next scheduled BAPS workshop will be held in early August, 2011 in Miami Beach, Florida. Please join us in 2011 for BAPS in Miami Beach. Registration will begin in March, 2011. If interested in sponsoring a BAPS workshop in your area, contact rebecca@amstat.org.

The ASA/NCTM Joint Committee is pleased to sponsor a Beyond AP Statistics (BAPS) workshop at the annual Joint Statistical Meetings in Washington, D.C. on August 3, 2009. The BAPS workshop is offered for AP statistics teachers and consists of enrichment material just beyond the basic AP syllabus. The course is divided into four sessions led by noted statisticians.

Cost:

The course fee for the full day is $50. Lunch will be provided. Please note: Course attendees do not have to register for the Joint Statistical Meetings in order to participate in this workshop.

Center City Public Charter School - Shaw Campus, 711 N Street, NW, Washington, DC, 20001. Across the street from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. Metro accessible via the yellow and green lines.
