In this paper is been presented the Statistical Quality Control of the production line of four machines of an industrial company, located in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, by the basic procedure of Shewhart, as well as alternative techniques; Cumulative Sum technique (CUSUM) and Bayesian Models. The expected number and the time expected has been analyzed as well as the verification of relative efficiency between the techniques. In synthesis can be observed that the procedure of the Shewhart’s charts can be used at the detection of great changes at the mean of process, the method of cumulative sum is more efficient to detect small changes at the mean and Bayesian Model was superior to Shewhart and CUSUM.
