Learning R (302841)*Joseph B. Rickert, Revolution Analytics
Keywords: R, rapid prototyping, visualization
R is the language of computational statistics. Its functional style, philosophy of manipulating objects that implement tangible parts of statistical models and easy to use visualization capabilities make it ideal for expressing statistical ideas. Every statistician should have some facility with R in order to rapidly prototype ideas and to communicate with colleagues and clients. The poster lay out the big picture of the R community that is behind the language, show how to leverage the community for ideas and support, provide tips for learning R, and provide examples that anyone can run with.
