Fees include the program book, Opening Mixer, and Informal Dance Party.
Online access to the 2012 Proceedings (available in early 2013) also is included, except where noted No Proceedings

The ASA reserves the right to adjust member registration types to the nonmember type and charge the difference in rates if stated membership is not currently active. In such an event, you will first be notified and given the opportunity to update your membership.

Add-on Prices

Ticketed events such as roundtable, speaker luncheons, and continuing education offerings, have limited availability and therefore are subject to sell-out or cancellation. A list of all ticketed events still available is at www.amstat.org/meetings/jsm/2012/addons.cfm.

	Discounts on Continuing Education Offerings

Accredited members in good standing with the ASA or SSC enjoy a 20% discount on Continuing Education courses and Computer Technology Workshops.

To take advantage of this discount when registering online, select the registration level that contains "accredited" (e.g., "Senior Member, Accredited" instead of "Senior Member"). Your CE or CTW discount will be calculated automatically. To take advantage of this discount when registering by fax or mail, check the appropriate box in the CE column indicating your accreditation and calculate your discount where asked.

Accreditation status is subject to verification by JSM registration staff, and the ASA reserves the right to adjust fees to the full price and charge the difference in rates if stated accreditation is not currently active. In such an event, you will be notified by registration staff.

Important Registration Dates

May 1 - May 31, 2012: Attendee and Add-on Registration opens. Early registration prices apply until 5:00 p.m. EDT, May 31, 2012.
June 1 - June 30, 2012: Registration continues at Regular prices. Regular registration closes at 5:00 p.m. EDT on June 30, 2012.
July 1 - August 2, 2012: Registration continues at Late registration prices. Online registration will stay open throughout the conference.

Payment

Payment must accompany registration. If you are paying by check, you must register by mail. If you are paying by credit card, you may register online, by fax, or by mail. We are unable to accept purchase orders. Do not submit registration materials more than once. Make your check or money order payable to the American Statistical Association in U.S. funds drawn on a U.S. bank.

Cancellations/Substitutions/Refunds

Registration fees for participants (speakers/panelists/discussants/chairs/organizers/poster presenters) are nonrefundable. Substitutions may be made at no penalty.

For general registrations and add-on items:
Cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. EDT on May 31, 2012 incur a cancellation fee of 20% of each item cancelled.
Cancellations received by 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 19, 2012 incur a cancellation fee of 40% of each item cancelled.
Cancellations received after 5:00 p.m. EDT on July 19, 2012, will not be refunded.

Avoid Headaches! Plan Ahead!

You can expect delays due to heavy volume near registration deadlines. Register early.
To avoid multiple registrations and charges, only submit your registration ONCE. Please do not fax a registration that you have also submitted by mail.
Know your organization's reimbursement policies before you register to avoid problems later.
Payment must accompany registration; purchase orders are not accepted. Registrations received without payment will not be processed.
Be sure to submit check requests to your organization in sufficient time to meet registration deadlines.
Using a departmental credit card? Don't forget to obtain permission from the cardholder in advance of registration deadlines. Also, be clear about what you may charge to that card. The JSM Registration Department can assist you if you need to use multiple forms of payment.
