Third Annual International Symposium on Evaluation of Clinical Trials Methodologies with Applications, Design of Clinical Trials, and Frontiers of Data Analysis (2009)

Paper Submission and Registration Information

In recent years, clinical trials research design and data analysis have received widespread attention due to advancements in clinical trials research. To foster dialogue among clinical trials specialists from mainland China and abroad on study design, data analysis, and related topics, as well as to promote an interdisciplinary approach for future investigations, the People's University of China, in collaboration with the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies, Clinical Trials Evaluation Committee, is hosting the Third Annual "International Symposium on the Evaluation of Clinical Trials Methodologies with Applications, Design of Clinical Trials, and Frontiers of Data Analysis (2009)." We encourage and welcome the participation of scholars and experts in related fields.

Call for Papers

1. Format Specifications
(1) Please submit either an abstract in both Chinese and English (500 words max) or the full text of your paper (8,000 words max). Please include author name(s), title, academic division, postal address, zip code, cell phone number, and e-mail address.
(2) Submission deadline May 30th, 2009.

2. Paper Selection Selected papers from the conference will be recommended for publication in "Data Analysis Statistics and Accurate Calculation," "Chinese Journal of Epidemiology," "Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology," and "Traditional Chinese Medicine Patient Drug." Among the selected papers, we will further select high-quality refereed papers to include in a special issue in "Statistics in Medicine." * Related fees for publication will be announced at a later time.

Symposium Registration Fee

- 200 USD per person for overseas (including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) attendees
- 600 RMB for mainland China attendees
- 300 RMB for Chinese students (please submit a photocopy of your Chinese student ID with registration form)

2. The registration deadline is May 30th, 2009.
3. Attendees will receive a government issued Grade A certificate in Continuing Education in Medicine.
