Change to Online Subscription Service

Effective January 1, 2009, online subscription access to the ASA’s journals will be provided by Atypon. The transition to this new service provider requires that all institutional and nonmember individual subscribers activate their account, even if they have previously done so on Ingenta.

FOR INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS: Login to Members Only to access your online subscriptions. No further login is required.

FOR NONMEMBER INDIVIDUALS: A valid email address is now required to access our online content. Please take a moment to update your email address in our records by contacting us at pubs@amstat.org. Please provide your ASA Customer ID number in your correspondence for accurate record matching. Then,
1. Go to http://pubs.amstat.org.
2. Click Activate my personal subscription.
3. You will be asked to Register, using the right half of the screen, during which you will create a username and password.
4. Sign in using your newly-created username and password.
5. Enter your ASA Customer ID number for the Access Token.

FOR INSTITUTIONS: A valid email address is now required to access our online content. Please take a moment to update your email address in our records by contacting us at pubs@amstat.org. Please provide your ASA Customer ID number in your correspondence for accurate record matching. Then,
1. Go to http://pubs.amstat.org.
2. Click Activate your institution.
3. You will be asked to Register, using the right half of the screen, during which you will create a username and password.
4. Sign in using your newly-created username and password. 5. Read and accept our Terms and Conditions by entering "yes" when prompted.
6. Enter your institution's ASA customer number where prompted (this is a six-digit number found at the top of mailing labels for print subscriptions, as well as on renewal notices).
7. Enter I.P. addresses for your institution. This step is required for your users to access full-text content.
8. If you have more than one site/customer number to administer, return to the Home page and select Activate your institution again. You will repeat steps 5-7 for each additional site/customer number.
