Chair Workshops
Third Annual Workshop for Chairs of Programs in Statistics and Biostatistics
ASA Headquarters, Alexandria, VA
July 31-August 1, 2009On Saturday, August 1 prior to JSM, the Caucus of Academic Reps will hold the third annual workshop for Chairs of Programs in Statistics and Biostatistics. This one-day workshop is designed to provide information and discussion for leaders of statistics and biostatistics groups and departments. In particular, it will try to stimulate discussion between new and experienced chairs on a range of topics as broad as development of long-range planning goals to topics as specific as recommendations for dealing with the media.
