The Section is generally in good financial standing. The Section has a surplus of approximately $8900.

The Section currently has 667 members. The member dues generated $1169 in revenue over the 2008 calendar year. The other primary source of revenue for the Section over the past several years has been royalties on the Anthology of Statistics in Sports book; the royalties were $843 in 2008.
