JSM 2002 SPES Mixer

The closely allied Sections on Physical and Engineering Sciences (SPES) and Quality and Productivity (Q&P) held their annual joint mixer at the Joint Meetings in New York City in August, and we've got snap-shots to prove it!  Awards were presented, door prizes were won, and a whole lotta meetin' and greetin' went on.  Click on the thumbnails below to see the big versions.  Of course, please let me know if you contributed your image but didn't get credit.

Chuck Bayne hands out outstanding presentation awards to Bill Meeker, runner-up James Mayes, and honorable mentions Joe Cavanaugh and Greg Piepel.  Bob Rodriguez got some other pictures of the presentations.
Bob Rodriguez and Lonnie Vance rounded up a lavish collection of door prizes.  Margie Nemeth (sitting with Janet Buckingham) is obviously pleased with hers, as is the unidentified winner of Pete Hovey's souvenir of the University of Dayton. DSCN0002.JPG DSCN0002.JPG
