The chair of the committee is the immediate past chair of the section. There are three other members. Members serve a three-year term. Each year, the chair appoints a new member as one member rotates off.

Nominating committee contacts potential candidates and makes sure they understand the responsibilities of the position, encourages them to attend JSM section activities, refers them to the time and task descriptions on the Section web site and sends them appropriate information from the ASA Handbook for Officers. |
