Sections
ASA sections are groups developed to further the objectives of the association in a field of statistical methods, theory, or applications. They are subject-area and/or industry-area related, covering more than 20 subdisciplines. However, the scope of a section is sufficiently broad to represent active professional interests of a substantial segment of the association. ASA interest groups are informal groups of members interested in specific topics in statistics.
