2010 Public Awareness Workgroup
Charge:
-
To: (1) Make a comprehensive assessment of the ASA brand and image, with an eye toward (a) improving outreach to members and potential members, (b) clarifying the role of the Association with its members, (c) enhancing the ASA’s image with potential members and other relevant parties, and (d) increasing the public’s understanding of the contributions of statistical science and of statisticians to society; (2) Develop a concrete public awareness plan based on results of the assessment.
