Ad Hoc Statistical Practice Conference Planning Committee

The planning committee will develop a plan to launch an annual conference focused on statistical practice, beginning in 2011 or 2012, to address needs of statisticians working primarily on applications of statistics, including but not limited to the following:
- Statisticians in industry and government
- Consulting statisticians in academia
- Statisticians at the bachelor’s and master’s levels as well as at the doctoral level
- Statistical programmers
- Students interested in applied statistics and career placement
