ASA Members Named to Academy Health Methods Council

Kelly Zou, senior director and analytic science lead at Pfizer Inc., and Marc Elliott, senior principal researcher at RAND, have been selected to serve on the AcademyHealth Methods Council.

AcademyHealth—the leading national organization for health services researchers, policymakers, and health care practitioners and stakeholders—increases the understanding of methods and data used in the field, expands awareness, and enhances the professional skills of researchers and research users.

Comprised of 21 members representing multiple disciplinary perspectives in health services and policy research, the council advises AcademyHealth leadership and its board of directors on priorities and trends in new methods and trainings in health services research.

Zou has been an ASA member since 1994 and currently serves as chair of the Statistical Partnerships Among Academe, Industry, and Government Committee and chair-elect of the Health Policy Statistics Section. She is also a member of the ASA Membership Council. Elliott has been an ASA member since 1996.
