Support of Research Budgets

The ASA actively supports the budgets for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Institutes of Health (NIH) through many channels, including work with other stakeholders, the ASA Board, and others. Following are some of the activities:

Letters organized, signed, and/or sent

Participation in the Coalition for National Science Funding; Ad Hoc Group for Medical Research, a coalition that supports the NIH budget; Friends of Institute for Education Science; Consortium of Social Science Associations; and other groups.
