With nearly 6,000 attendees, the Joint Statistical Meetings is the largest gathering of statisticians and data scientists in North America.

The ASA Biopharmaceutical Section Regulatory-Industry Statistics Workshop lasts three days, with invited sessions co-chaired by statisticians from industry, academia, and the FDA. Short courses on related topics are offered on the first day of the workshop. With more than 1000 attendees, the workshop also boasts poster sessions, exhibitor tables, and many opportunities to network.

The International Conference on Establishment Statistics series of conferences serves an important role in the world of survey methodology. Few other conferences focus on methods and applications for establishment surveys.

For over 19 years, the International Conference on Health Policy Statistics (ICHPS), organized by the Health Policy Statistics Section of the ASA, has played a vital role in the dissemination process of health policy (and health services) statistics. ICHPS provides a unique forum for discussing research needs and solutions to the methodological challenges in the design of studies and analysis of data for health policy research.

Part of the ASA lineup since 2018, the Symposium on Data Science & Statistics is designed for data enthusiasts who are part of the statistical, computer science, and/or data science worlds for analyzing and visualizing complex data at all levels.

The Annual Symposium on Risks and Opportunities of AI in Pharmaceutical Medicine brings together statisticians, data scientists, regulators, and industry professionals to explore how AI is reshaping drug discovery, development, and deployment. Jointly sponsored by leading academic, industry, and professional organizations, the symposium serves as a platform to examine challenges, propose solutions, and advance responsible use of AI in pharmaceutical medicine.
